Brewery Launches Special Cask Ale for Queen's 90th Birthday

To mark the Queen's 90th birthday, St Peter's Brewery has unveiled its new cask ale, 'All Ale To The Queen’.

All Ale to the Queen is a 4.2% ABV amber-coloured ale with a noticeable treacle toffee flavour and a light, sweet, floral aroma. There are subtle hints of fruit courtesy of sovereign dry hopping.

“We wanted to produce an ale that celebrated the Queen's special birthday and we think All Ale to the Queen does just that,” explains Steve Magnall, CEO at St Peter's Brewery. “We hope this new ale provides a talking point at pubs across the country.

St Peter's All Ale to the Queen is now available to the on-trade.

[Notes To Editors]

St. Peter’s Brewery is based at St. Peter South Elmham, near Bungay in Suffolk. The brewery itself was built in 1996 and is housed in an attractive range of traditional former agricultural buildings adjacent to St. Peter’s Hall.

Siting the brewery at St. Peter’s was ideal because of the excellent water quality from its own deep bore-hole. Locally malted barley is used, together with Kentish hops, to produce a range of classical English cask-conditioned ales and superb bottled beers.

St Peter's brews ‘traditional’ beers (bitters, mild etc.), as well as some more unusual beers such as honey porter and fruit beer.
