FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Froglands Purrfection Cattery opened in July 2017 in Kenley/Caterham area by Chris Aitken who retired from the NHS after nearly 20 years of NHS Service. Chris has always loved cats and over the years has had many, but after retiring from the NHS thought this was a different way of caring.
Are you looking for a new and purpose built cattery for your loving cats to stay in while your on holiday or in hospital or basically taking care of your beloved animals while you are unavailable? Then please take a look at Froglands Purrfection Cattery a brand new, purpose built cattery with new larger pens, each pen can hold up to 2 cats and a family pen which can hold up to a maximum of 4 cats. This is a small family run cattery giving the personal touch in Kenley. It has been purposely built and licensed. It has thermostatically controlled radiators in each pen bedroom area , the bedroom area has vinyl flooring with the rest of the cattery having ceramic tiled flooring which helps keep the cattery in a clean and more homely feel location. Each pen has a cat flap in the door of the internal door from the play area to the sleeping area and also has open view windows where cats cat happily sit and look out and/or go into each part of the pen. The bedroom has two shelving areas where comfy beds can be placed and enough area for eating bowls and area for storing the carry case and their own bed if they prefer. Each pen is provided with a scratching post and toys, but Chris encourages owners to bring their own cats toys etc as this helps them settle down,
The pens have beautiful views of the Kenley Valley, the garden encourages wild animals, i.e. Dear, Foxes, Badges, Squirrels and many birds and of course the owners own cats visit the garden.
The windows can be taken in or out to make the pens warmer or cooler depending on the weather and their is a security corridor between these windows which also keeps the cats stay secure and feeling safe. Music is also played at times, which Chris has noticed encourages the cats to stay calm and relaxes them. They have shelving they can sit on to look out and each pen has a sneeze barrier between them, stopping any infection, although All casts must be fully up to date with vaccinations, flea and worming to be accepted to this cattery and proof will be required to ensure all cats are kept safe.
It has an Isolation Pen and 24.7 vet care. It has beautiful views over the Kenley/Caterham valley in a privately owned garden, with decking area where owners can sit if they wish to visit their cats. The decking area has plants and frogs which light up and coloured lighting to help make the area a warm and pleasant area for the evenings and night time. It has CCTV cameras and has great reviews on its own website: www.froglandspurrfectioncattery.co.uk. Although it has only been opened just over a month in the peak time it had waiting lists and every customer who viewed or hired a pen was amazed and happy at the sizes of the pens and the fact they are insulated and in a great and pleasant area. Many have commented on how clean the cattery is kept and although only open just over a month it has returning visiting cats as their owners felt they were more relaxed when they collected them previously from Froglands Purrfection Cattery and decided this was the place they wanted them to stay.
Pricing includes food and litter and where possible the cats are brushed and shown loving care while their owners are away. On Froglands Purrfection Cattery website their are customer reviews, pictures of visiting cats and more information in relation to the cattery. Visiting is encouraged and all that is required is that an appointment is made as sometimes it can get very busy at Froglands during certain times.
It may be possible to view, drop off or collect at different times, but this will have to be discussed with Chris to see if she can help but she is always happy to help where she can.
A 50% deposit is required to ensure booking can be confirmed and forms must be completed for each cat and returned to Chris at the time of booking with written permission form signed to allow a visit to a vet if required. All information is provided at the time of enquiry and Chris will assist where ever possible.
