Slow Travel Hastings

Welcome to Slow Travel Hastings, a cultural guide to the world famous Sussex seaside town.

Through interviews, features and profiles I hope to go a little deeper than the average travel guide to showcase this raw, diverse and creative town. I am inspired by the Slow Food movement, a global, grassroots organisation which campaigns for a better way to eat and celebrates regional traditions, gastronomic pleasure and a slower pace of life.

I believe in a more personal and organic form of travel, which is about getting beneath the skin of a place so that when you leave you have a better understanding of its people, passions and politics.
