About Love Bomb Cushions

It started with a kiss...literally! Founder, Sarah Agar-Brennan was shopping around for ideas for her teenage daughter’s birthday and stumbled across emoji pillows from China. It took her several attempts to get them delivered as they kept getting lost in international post but once they arrived they were an instant hit, all her friends wanted one and so the craze locally began.

The quality of the ones ordered weren’t great so, having been in business for more than 20 years, Sarah decided to search a higher quality product. Having been unable to find the right standard of cushion, Sarah took it on herself to source a factory to provide higher finishing and textiles standards. She also decided to increase the size of the pillow range from the widely available 32cm to 36cm - more to cuddle and love!

Since establishing the business less than one year ago, husband Carl Agar-Brennan has joined as sales and operations director and the now-family run-firm has enjoyed phenomenal success. Most impressively, the Leeds-based business is the only firm to hold the official emoji licence to stock the quality products.

With a range of more than 60 products including cushions, cushioned slippers, miniature ‘shelf buddies’ and keychains, the firm plans to roll out a number of further novelty lines and is in talks to launch a number of additional exciting ranges to compliment the emojis.

With more than 20 years’ retail experience in the toy industry, buying and selling products from all the over world, Sarah prides herself on selling quality products that last which all the family can enjoy. Sarah is proud that LoveBomb Cushions are exactly that, super soft, cuddly and instantly loveable.
