FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Bigjigs Toys Ltd are excited to have purchased the assets of the brand; Didicar.

Bigjigs Toys growing portfolio of brands will be bolstered with the addition of Didicar: a range of fun and colourful, self propelled ride on toys for children (and adults too)!

There are two styles in the range: The Original Didicar which can take weights exceeding 100kgs and is suitable for ages 3+ years and the Walk N Ride, designed for under 3’s. Both of the lightweight ride on toys are available now in a variety of bright and bold colours at www.bigjigstoys.co.uk.

Parents love them because there are no running costs, pedals, motors, batteries, or greasy chains! The ride on toys promote a wide range of physical and social advantages including good cardiovascular exercise whilst developing coordination and balance. Not only are the ride on toys safe and durable but these are suitable for indoors and outdoors use.. New Didicar owners can have peace of mind because every Didicar carries a 5 year warranty and, should it be required, a parts service is available at Bigjigs Toys.

About Bigjigs Toys Ltd

Founded in June 1985, Bigjigs Toys is a family operated business which has never lost sight of its roots. Our mission is to deliver quality, safe and affordable products, which are responsibly sourced and complement childhood through fun, exploration and learning. We believe that the best toys are powered by creativity and imaginative play and strive to produce toys that are cherished and enjoyed for years to come.

Bigjigs Toys Ltd was established in 1985 by Peter and Liz Ireland, both teachers in their previous careers. They decided to develop a company that would make learning fun with the use of traditional wooden toys.

At the very beginning Peter and Liz could be found working in their garden shed, cutting out pieces of wooden jigsaw puzzles by hand. They would sell the jigsaw puzzles at local craft fairs and agricultural shows, travelling far and wide to find their customers.

Since then, Peter and Liz’s two sons have also joined the family business and helped extend the Bigjigs family to a team of dedicated staff who are passionate about educational and fun toys.

Our current range of toys extends to over 2000 high quality products, including the popular Bigjigs Rail collection, dolls, outdoor toys, role play items and of course, wooden jigsaw puzzles! Today we supply independent toy shops in over 40 countries throughout Europe, Australasia, South Africa and the USA.
