Big Names Added To Small is Beautiful Roll of Honour

The Small is Beautiful Roll of Honour will be published online and in the mainstream media on the fifth, annual #MicroBizMatters Day, January 11th 2019. It was launched at the end of May and, as well as being backed by many influential businesses, some of the UK's largest small and micro business membership organisations are adding their names. Enterprise Nation, the Forum of Private Business, the International Association of Book-keepers and Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce are recent additions.

All those named on the Small is Beautiful Roll of Honour subscribe to the values contained in an article on LinkedIn by Tony Robinson OBE, the Micro Business Champion. Robinson explained that the purpose of the Roll of Honour is "To influence Government Departments and Large Organisations to adopt behaviour and policies towards small and micro businesses which are better for the economy, employment, environment, enterprise, innovation, fulfilment, workplaces and our social infrastructure.

All those on the Roll of Honour are willing to put their name behind the Small is Beautiful values which include our campaigns such as #PayIn30Days. There is an alternative to the pursuit of excessive wealth for the very few and that alternative is Schumacher's 'Small is Beautiful: Economics as if People Mattered' and #MicroBizMatters. Together, all the names on the Roll of Honour are asserting their values and right to a more even playing field so that enterprise in the UK can flourish to the benefit of 5.6 million business owners and the families, friends and communities they support '
