FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Loch Tay Highland Lodges, which includes four Wigwam® Big Chief Cabins and two Wigwam® Big Chief Premium Cabins at their site near Killin, Perthshire, has successfully defended a national title at the Scottish Outdoor and Leisure Awards (SOLA).
The site was runner-up in the Best Scottish Glamping site category, and Jo Barrie, General Manager of Loch Tay highland Lodges, collected the award on behalf of the team.
Jo said: ‘We are delighted to defend our title in the “Best Scottish Glamping” category. We have worked hard this year to improve our site and the accommodation on it, as well as striving to deliver the best customer service and experience to everyone who visits our site.’
Thousands of public nominations were received across a total of 17 categories and over 25,000 votes were received. A shortlist of 115 finalists was independently assessed before the winners and runners up were announced at a glittering ceremony at Glasgow’s Marriott Hotel recently.
Loch Tay Highland Lodges also scooped the prestigious award for “Best Scottish Self Catering Accommodation” at the same awards ceremony.
Warren Paul, CEO and founder of SOLA, said: ‘It’s a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the businesses that help to showcase our beautiful country.”
