Belgibeer presents a special box for Father’s Day
Although the first official Father’s Day is unclear (some historians claim the celebration to be over four thousand years old), the first modern holiday was created in 1909 by Ms. Sonora Louise Smart Dodd, a dedicated North-American daughter that wanted to honor her father, a Civil War veteran, for his efforts in raising her and her five brothers and sisters.
Today, 107 years later, the tradition is as strong as in that first celebration. We keep separating a day in the year to thank our fathers for being there, for taking care, and for teaching us so much about life. With that in mind, Belgibeer came up with a special box for Father’s Day, themed on the learning experience: a beer tasting one.
The box (with a special price of £24) comes with eight beers (four flavors) from Ter Dolen, a typical small scale craft Belgian brewery whose production happens in a castle with the same name that dates back from the 16th century.
