Belgibeer presents a special box for Father’s Day

16 May 2016 11:00

Although the first official Father’s Day is unclear (some historians claim the celebration to be over four thousand years old), the first modern holiday was created in 1909 by Ms. Sonora Louise Smart Dodd, a dedicated North-American daughter that wanted to honor her father, a Civil War veteran, for his efforts in raising her and her five brothers and sisters.

Today, 107 years later, the tradition is as strong as in that first celebration. We keep separating a day in the year to thank our fathers for being there, for taking care, and for teaching us so much about life. With that in mind, Belgibeer came up with a special box for Father’s Day, themed on the learning experience: a beer tasting one.

The box (with a special price of £24) comes with eight beers (four flavors) from Ter Dolen, a typical small scale craft Belgian brewery whose production happens in a castle with the same name that dates back from the 16th century. Besides the beers (known by its high-quality), the offer includes a bottle opener, a tasting guide, a special card, beer coasters, a magazine containing information about the brewery and the beers, and a Belgibeer glass. Everything you father needs to grasp the true art of tasting high-quality beer.

That’s our mission at Belgibeer: provide unforgettable beer tasting experiences. With subscriptions of 1, 3, 6, or 12 months, you have the opportunity to get to know different small-to-medium size Belgian breweries, delivered at your doorstep every month. Not only that, but you also get to be part of a social club of beer-lovers from all around the world, committed to learn and share the best of beer knowledge available.
