FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Shocked by the huge pile of screwed-up paper left at the end of a family Christmas, Liz Cole decided to create a less wasteful way to wrap her presents. She and her husband, Mike, set themselves the challenge of designing a solution that was not only eco-friendly, but fun to open and something that people would really love to have. “We want to persuade people to ditch disposable paper and wrap their gifts in our beautiful, reusable fabric pouches,” Liz explains, “we’re trying to start a Wrap Revolution!"
Their fabric pouch solution is so easy to use: simply slide your gift into the pouch, thread the tab through a loop and fix it back onto itself. They’ve even managed to keep that exciting feeling of opening a present - the tab makes a satisfying ripping sound when it’s torn back.
Liz wanted to design something that would be genuinely useful, and she tells us that: “Most people who receive a fabric pouch seem to love them so much that they are reluctant to hand them on, so they often become part of the gift. Customers have told us that our pouches are lovely ways to keep a whole range of things – from jewellery and nail polish bottles to papers and books.”
The first pouches were made with fabrics designed and printed in the Midlands, exclusively for Wrap Revolution. Now they have launched an organic cotton range made from Cloud 9 fabrics.
The Wrap Revolution team are based in a small studio in Derby, hand-making a variety of reusable ways to celebrate.

Wrap Revolution creates beautiful, reusable ways to celebrate.
We aim to persuade people to ditch disposable wrapping paper and wrap their gifts in our gorgeous fabric pouches. Our pouches adjust to fit different sizes of present, open with a satisfying tearing sound, and can be used over and over again.
Our fabric has been exclusively designed and printed for us, here in the Midlands. We then handcraft it into gorgeous textile products in our studio in the heart of Derby.
We launched in November 2015 and currently sell bunting, fabric pouches and gift tags.
