ASGB delivers outside broadcast vehicles for the 2017 Asian Games in Turkmenistan
ASGB have successfully completed the outside broadcast coach build for phase two of the Ashgabat Olympic City project in Turkmenistan, hosts of the 2017 Asian Games. The Asian Games is the most prestigious event organised by the Olympic Council of Asia and is the biggest multi-sport games after the Olympic Games. Similar to the Olympic Games, the Asian Games are also held every four years.
This first phase consisted of two sets of vehicles with each set comprising a double expanding outside broadcast trailer, a tender support trailer and a 200kW power generation vehicle.
Working for Broadcast Solutions GmbH, we delivered the two double expanding outside broadcast trailers rack ready with the interior layouts designed to support 16 Sony HD cameras. Within the tender support trailer is a rack ready technical area to the front , a crew room for use as an office, hospitality and sleeping and storage racking for broadcast equipment to the rear. The 200kW generator is contained within ASGB’s renowned low-noise acoustic enclosure and has a separate racked stowage compartment for equipment.
The vehicles are now being integrated and kitted out at Broadcast Solutions in Bingen, Germany before final testing and onward despatch to Ashgabat. Upon arrival at their final destination ASGB’s Engineers will attend to ensure all the vehicles have travelled safely and to provide training to the client in the correct and safe set-up and maintenance of the vehicles.
This is the first project combining the expertise of ASGB and Broadcast Solutions and on this new relationship Wladislaw Grabowski, COO of Broadcast Solution and Project Manager of this project said: “we are very happy with partnership with ASGB on this project.
