Andover firm gets behind annual Bike Week with special offer to customers.

Andover-based start-up Bikeshare Bags are getting behind the annual Bike Week by offering a 10% discount (promo code bikeweek10) on their bags designed to fit the London cycle scheme. Bike Week has been going for 95 years, and is an annual opportunity to promote cycling.

Bikeshare Bags was set up by husband-and-wife team Katie and Sandy Carrick-Buchanan to overcome the poor design of the luggage rack on the scheme’s bikes. Their smart tote bags are custom built to snugly and securely fit the bike.

Katie says ‘the London Cycling scheme is a great way to get around London and at the same time do some exercise…if we can encourage just a few people to ride more by using our bags, we’ll be doing our bit for Bike Week and for Londoners’ fitness’

They can be used on the daily commute, for a shopping trip, or just as a tote or a beach bag. Whether commuting, shopping or just cutting about town, this handy tote will be a staple accessory from Bond Street to Barking.

About Bikeshare Bags Ltd

Bikeshare Bags are smart tote bags designed to fit the London cycle scheme. It is an independent company run by Katie and Sandy in Andover, Hampshire. Sandy works in London, and during his daily commute using the London cycle scheme he was frustrated by the luggage rack. It didn't hold anything properly, things fell out or got crushed with the rubber bungees. Katie decided to do something about it - and designed the London Bikebag! Custom built to snugly and securely fit the bike, it will accommodate your daily commute, the fruits of a shopping trip, or if you want to just use it as a tote or a beach bag... Whether commuting, shopping or just cutting about town, this handy tote will be a staple accessory from Bond Street to Barking.
