National Enterprise Network

National Enterprise Network is a unique membership body representing those working in the enterprise support sector across England. NEN believes their members are crucial to England’s economic growth. The network’s role is to support their businesses work by representing their interests, promoting the results they achieve and connecting them with opportunities for even greater success. The NEN membership is traditionally, but not exclusively, made up of not-for-profit enterprise support organisations providing independent and impartial advice, training and mentoring to new and emerging businesses. National Enterprise Network represents a variety of enterprise support organisations; including enterprise agencies, Chambers of Commerce, local authorities and other specialist providers. Research shows that those who seek support in the setting up and running of their businesses are more likely to survive and thrive and there is no greater example of good quality, personalised and tailored support than that offered by their Members and Associates.

Startup Direct

Startup Direct is a founding delivery partner of the Governments Start Up Loans Scheme that provides up to £25K in start-up funding for entrepreneurs wanting to start a business. In addition to the funding, they provide 12 months free mentoring and extensive support through regular workshops and events as well as numerous initiatives and discounts through our corporate partners. Startup Direct are a not for profit organisation with offices in London and Birmingham, and are passionate about supporting their businesses to help you through your start-up journey. They are developing a range of initiatives designed to help and support you as you grow your business.

StartUp Factor

StartUp Factor is a Government-backed organisation dedicated to helping individuals secure funding to develop and launch their own start-up businesses. Their mission is to identify and support the new ideas and start-ups emerging all the time across the UK and to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs and business owners. StartUp Factor provides access to Government backed finance for a debt solution or access to an Investment fund for equitable finance solutions. The organisation also runs each year, The Grad Factor as the UK’s largest business pitch competition for UK University students. The concept of the website is to provide services that not only help women develop themselves both personally and professionally, but also contributes to a wider strategy of supporting working women in the UK more broadly by bringing together the charity sector and potential entrepreneurs on to one common platform.

Women 1st

Women 1st aim to transform the face of boards in the tourism and visitor economy sector (hospitality, passenger transport, travel, tourism and retail), and support women who aspire to senior leadership roles to fulfil their career ambitions. Women 1st want to give women the skills, confidence and inspiration to go for more senior roles, help them build their personal networks and help organisations understand how and why they should support their female managers to reach the top.
