With the UK Election less than 2 weeks away, businesses, especially small and medium businesses, are a major part of the manifestos and promises that are being made by all of the parties.
Some of the parties share common ground on many of the issues, whilst others have a very different take.
SMEs account for over 99% of total business in the UK, employ over 15 million people and have a combined turnover of £1.6 trillion (Source: FSB). This means that any pledges made in the parties manifestos affect a significant proportion of the population and could make or break the election result.
Here at JournoLink we have compiled the pledges that could affect SMEs from the 7 major parties and produced an infographic illustrating these points.
Over the next 2 weeks, we’ll be taking a look at each of the parties and how their pledges could affect small businesses.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on the pledges and how you think that the election result will affect your business in the long term. Get involved in the comments or tweet us your thoughts.
