SMEs: At Last, Help is at Hand
SMEs are constantly told that they are the backbone of the economy but do politicians really understand how much small businesses have to do? Large companies have departments to cope with all of the required disciplines that go with running a business but their smaller counterparts do not have this luxury and have to find other ways of coping.
Small business support service Your Business Community (YBC), who exist to fill this gap, are running Bite Sized Business on November 6th at RBS 250 Bishopsgate EC2M 4AA. The event is a large scale, full day intensive business event featuring 10 panel debates and seminars covering areas key to business growth. Expert panelists will be on hand throughout the day to provide advice and insights, as well as to answer questions on their areas of expertise. The event is free to attend and is jointly organised by Nat West and Your Business Community.
YBC Director Ted Wigzell said 'SMEs are good at what they do but often struggle with compliance and business development. Bite Sized Business will explore how best to cope and look at practical solutions to these common needs.'
Subjects under discussion include; access to finance, why social media is the new SEO, making your business newsworthy and Auto Enrolment. There will also be help available for start ups as well as an exhibition and networking opportunities throughout the day.
