Group of HIV charities launch an online support community for people living with the virus on social health platform HealthUnlocked

HealthUnlocked, the world’s largest social network for health, today announces a new online community being set up to empower people living with HIV, helping them to connect with others going through the same challenges to receive valuable and relevant information, advice and mentorship. The community is called HIV Partners and can be found at https://healthunlocked.com/hivpartners

The community hosts are three established UK organisations: i-Base, Positively UK and Forum Link, which have come together to launch their first online space for peer support. i-Base produces publications covering all aspects of treatment, Forum Links’ services focus on strengthening HIV patient advocacy and Positively UK runs an award-winning offline peer support service.

This union of strengths is what makes the new HIV Partner’s community on HealthUnlocked the new go to place for online HIV support in the UK. The community conversations are being pioneered by Paul Decle, Forum Link founder, who says “talking to and meeting other people living well with HIV can help you know you are not alone. It’s invaluable to find people living with HIV sharing their journey and supporting each other online”.
